gMBX Token
Streamlining user convenience
The more intuitive token value allows users to easily understand the current worth of game tokens. Unlike before, when users had to rely on exchange rates to indirectly assess the value of game tokens, they can now directly and efficiently evaluate the value of gMBX without worrying about slippage. This change is designed to provide gMBX holders with clearer, more meaningful information to support their ownership decisions Economic feasibility when switching between games is enhanced by simplifying token transferability. In the previous game token system, users faced exchange fees when trading tokens between games. The benefit of using a single game token is that it removes the need for the exchange process and the associated fees, making transitions between games more efficient and cost-effective.
Creating a more scalable and stable ecosystem
The stability of onboarding new games has been significantly improved. With the MBX ecosystem maturing, integrating new games has become a smoother process, supported by our native blockchain Dapp services, including NFT functionalities. By utilizing gMBX tokens, we can onboard games onto a more stable tokenomics system, where the value of MBX tokens is less influenced by individual games, ensuring a more robust and sustainable ecosystem for all participants. Expanding user pools enables seamless sharing of users between games. While diversity was a strength in the previous game token system, using separate tokens across games often created psychological barriers and procedural obstacles. This made it difficult for users to switch between games, despite being in the same MARBLEX ecosystem. By transitioning to gMBX, we anticipate that lowering the entry barrier will drive higher user acquisition for each game, expanding the user base and fostering a more dynamic and engaged ecosystem.
Please note that the expectations mentioned above do not guarantee an increase in the prices of the game token or MBX.
Ecosystem Stability and Liquidity Support
To promote the adoption of gMBX and ensure stabilization, MARBLEX plans to provide the following support to game content providers. Through our support plan, we aim to create a foundation for more games to onboard, thereby securing diverse new content and offering a fresh user experience.
Providing liquidity support for initial exchange pools
To encourage the onboarding of games within the gMBX ecosystem, we plan to provide gMBX to support creating an exchange pool between gMBX and in-game items. While these exchange pools are essential for maintaining the blockchain game ecosystem, sourcing such funds may be a burden for ecosystem contributors. To lower that entry barrier, MARBLEX plans to alleviate these hurdles by providing liquidity support necessary for the initial adoption of gMBX, encouraging more games to onboard within the MBX ecosystem in the future.
Providing support for ecosystem stability
To actively encourage the provision of gMBX utilization within onboarding games, a portion of gMBX used within games will be distributed to ecosystem contributors and MARBLEX. To help stabilize the ecosystem during the early stages of adoption, while adhering to the intention of giving back to the ecosystem, MARBLEX plans to allocate a certain percentage of the total gMBX received from users for ecosystem support.
Details of the support system may be subject to change or reduction depending on the maturity of the ecosystem.
Additional updates following the transition to gMBX
For games without in-game transaction fees, the following fees may occur:
In-game items to gMBX
1% fee applied
Fees are burned
gMBX to MBX
5% fee applied
Fees are allocated for ecosystem maintenance and expansion
When exchanging MBX to gMBX or gMBX to in-game items, no additional fees will apply.
With the consolidation of each game token into gMBX, the Game Token Staking service will be terminated. The funds that were previously allocated for the game token staking service will be utilized for maintaining the exchange pools with in-game items in each game.
