A total of **1 billion tokens** were issued with a focus on **long-term sustainability**, stable liquidity, and ecosystem growth. The distribution plan is as follows:

1. <mark style="color:green;">**Ecosystem and community activation**</mark>&#x20;

* Funds allocated to ensure the long-term sustainability and engagement of the ecosystem.
* Users who participate in **staking** and **liquidity provision** are eligible for rewards.
* The service provider supports **token economy growth** by enhancing blockchain services, funding development projects, and launching initiatives to strengthen the ecosystem.

2. <mark style="color:green;">**Token Sale**</mark>

* Funds allocated for **initial operations** and **strategic partnerships**.
* Distribution occurs in multiple rounds, considering future partnership opportunities.

3. <mark style="color:green;">**Team Allocation**</mark>

* Rewards for **team members**, **employees**, and **affiliates** who contribute to the design, implementation, and growth of the MARBLEX blockchain ecosystem.

4. <mark style="color:green;">**Marketing**</mark>

* Funds dedicated to **promotional activities**, including **airdrops** and events, to increase participation in the MARBLEX ecosystem.

## Tokenomics Optimization Phase 1: Burning Excess Supply

In **July 2023**, as part of **MARBLEX 3.0 Tokenomics Optimization Phase 1**, the total supply of MBX was **reduced from 1,000,000,000 to 326,372,444** **MBX** through a strategic **token burn**.

#### Why Was the Burn Necessary?

* The initial tokenomics plan reserved a **large supply for future ecosystem growth** based on market expectations.
* Given **current market conditions** and **ecosystem activity**, it was determined that the initial supply was **more than sufficient** for efficient operations.
* Burning excess tokens helped **reduce distribution pressure, increase transparency**, and **mitigate market uncertainty**.

#### How Many Tokens Were Burned?

* **673,627,556 MBX** (67.36% of the original supply) was **burned** in July 2023.
* This amount was **not included** in the [**MBX Token Distribution Schedule by 2026**](https://marblex-1.gitbook.io/1/BTfFj5qcSJE9ROtVt8cV/ecosystem/token-model/token-distribution-schedule-by-2026)**.**
* The remaining **326,372,444 MBX** includes tokens previously burned via the ecosystem’s **controlled supply model**.

#### Future Supply Adjustments

* **Remaining tokens** will be used for **long-term ecosystem operation**, following the **MBX Token Distribution Schedule by 2026**.
* The total MBX supply **may continue its decreasing trend** due to the [**Auto-Burn model**](https://marblex-1.gitbook.io/1/BTfFj5qcSJE9ROtVt8cV/ecosystem/token-model/burn-model) implemented in the MARBLEX ecosystem.
